Impact

As a part of our organization activities , we have supported 210 tribal hamlets so far under various projects and spreading over more in the future.

  • Under Project - Poshan Providing nutritional supplements to malnourished women /Kids Pregnant/Lactating women in 15 tribal villages.
  • Under Project- Sujala, 27 villages have been supported with water tanker sheds, natural wellsprings, rain harvesting pits & water wheel barrels for hassle-free water transportation from far sources.
  • Under Project- Velugu, Solar street lights have been installed in 20 tribal habitations that live without power, Provided Solar home lantern kits to 35 tribal habitations for individual households, and distributed 800 portable study lights to students from multiple villages.
  • Under Project - Vidhya, We are running a Balavelugu school providing free education and hostel accommodation to 60 + children who came from interior ​​forest areas of Bhadradri Kothagudem, constructed bridge schools in 4 tribal habitations and reconstructed 3 Mandal level Government schools in Chinturu agency, ASR District.
  • Under Project - Vaidhya, we have constructed a 10- bed patient ward on the premises of IDO hospital Gatumalla, this helps to address inpatient admissions of people due to various conditions, Donated 35 Oxygen concentrators, Medical Supplies & Health care in primary & community health centers during COVID times.
  • Under Project - Rythu Nestham, we distributed approximately 2000 kitchen garden seed kits for poor/marginal farmers, we supported 80 tribal farmers who lost their major crop due to heavy floods in polavaram area by giving them seeds like maize, jowar, bengal gram,& moong dal, along with these we supported 2 villages in construction of cattle sheds for the purpose of organic farming.
  • Under Disaster Relief & Other Services, For the past 2 years team SFN actively extended various relief services during COVID and Godavari floods in 2021 & 2022. During these times we supported 4600 grocery kits, 600 tarpaulin sheets, 1200 mosquito nets, 1400 COVID medicine kits,750 malaria & dengue kits to the tribal & rural families across tribal areas of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
  • Our Team does some seasonal & special drives upon receiving the requests, we support the tribal hamlets with winter wear such as blankets, sweaters, sleeping bags for infants, and clothes for regular use. Along with these, we support Government schools and individual students with books, stationery and desktops/Laptops for their computer education, etc.
